I hate it when the Hawks are predicted to do well.
This season the Hawkeyes went 4-6 in first ten games
of Big Ten Conference play. They went 8-2 in the second
half of the Conference schedule. They finished strong
and hopefully get to the Big Ten Tournament final game
for championship. It looks like Iowa has their act together.

Iowa has as good a shot as anyone. Still the hottest team in the league. Should've won last night and they'll get another shot at them in the semis.
I've been to three of them. Stopped going, mainly because my job changed, but I did tell myself to stop going because we lost the first game each time..

Iowa has never won a BTT game as a #5 seed
Iowa has won more than 1 game in the BTT a grand total of 4 times in 23 appearance, and not since last winning the thing in 2006.
Agreed. If they don't scare folks the way they've been playing recently, they should.
Pathetic, any way you look at it. If I had to guess, I would think that is the worst of all Big 10 teams…..or close to it.
Scary how much opinion has swung toward the Hawks. We have been impressive over the past 10 games, but before that, we were considered a bubble team by many.

Considering the damn thing is Indy over half the time, Indiana’s and Purdue’s records stand out as astonishingly bad…
We just did, at Nebraska. I made the comment right after that game that up to that point, Nebraska played their best game of the year...they continued that play the rest of the season. So I say we did beat Nebraska when they were peaking.
I was mostly focused on Iowa winning more than 1 game only 4 times in 23 years. It would be interesting to see which Big 10 teams have done worse.
I've thought of going a couple times in the past----Devyn Marble's senior year and Uthoffs senior year...both years started out great and then they faded those years and I think they lost 1st round in BTT. Fran is 5-10 in BTT so far, so not counting on an extended Iowa run in BTT has been the stastical right call.
Who knows, maybe this team finally makes a BTT run for Fran.
I did make Indy for the 12-0 hawks in Football....can't say there is much to do in Indy, but it is better than having BTT in NYC.
