If the season ended today-

1 Michigan

8 Indiana
9 Minnesota

12 Maryland
13 Northwestern
14 Nebraska

Iowa would get a bye to await the winner of Maryland-Northwestern. Winner of that 2nd Rd game would face 4 Wisconsin.


Obviously a lot will change in the coming weeks as 4 of our remaining 6* games are against 3 of the current top 4 teams. (*Nebraska game pending)

Hawks are already 3-0 vs MARY/NW. Either opponent is fine, but probably should prefer NW.

Always want to have to go through Wisconsin vs the other 3 teams (unless in the BTT finals), to reach the weekend.

Wisky will have little hope of keeping up offensively if Hawks are "on" when playing them - unless somebody who doesn't usually hit 3s goes crazy, which.... S*. nvm.

No matter who play on Friday (if playing still), it will be a tough out.

We'll have our opportunity to, especially with playing Wisconsin twice.

Fine with Bama and Oklahoma even though they're not better teams than Iowa.

Gonzaga can f*** off, and I'll be very disappointed with the committee, if they actually put us back in Gonzaga's region.

Of course, I'd also be disappointed if they put us in Baylor's region, but the NCAA Tournament committee has never done us any favors before, and they have no reason to start now, so oh well........

IMO, its going to be tough to overtake Purdue for the four seed. They finish with Michigan St., Nebraska, Penn St., Wisconsin and Indiana. Wow... 😕

Just found our path to a 4 seed while only beating Wisconsin once and Penn State, losing the rest. Very realistic scenarios.

I edited my post and added in Purdue’s remaining schedule... I see only one potential loss in there, but you never know!
