Big Ten vs Big 12

I seem to remember one of the ISU trolls on here last week telling us how superior the Texas Twelve (or Bowlsby's Tiny Ten) was. I wonder if he will be back to educate us on how getting one team through to the Sweet 16 is evidence to support his thesis.

I know this is a "participation trophy" post... But BIG could have had 2 more with Maryland and Iowa. Way more competitive

It's really been a strong showing for the B1G. MSU, Michigan and Purdue have all played to seed and are still alive in the tournament. Maryland played to seed and very nearly pulled the 2nd round upset of the 3 seed. Minnesota played above seed beating Louisville and then the Big Ten was going to lose someone in their game against MSU. Iowa played above seed beating Cincy and very nearly took down #2 Tennessee. OSU played above seed taking out #6 ISU. Only Wisconsin underachieved.

The lack of responses tells us all about clown fans. Just like with football, they run their mouths for months only to find in the end Iowa was better and the Big Ten was a better conference.

Maryland got absolutely jobbed on the most obvious travel that wasn't called. It was comparable to the old days of "professional" wrasslin when the ref was distracted from seeing the good guy getting beaten up by the villain.

I believe his rationale was that a larger % of teams in the Big12 were going to make the tourney.

Big 12 wasn't better than the Big 10 this year. I believe it was last year. I don't think this is terribly controversial. I said this before the tournament as well.

It’s not controversial and frankly, it is a dumb argument. However, op is likely making the argument due to the incessant amount of isu trolls that would flock to this board whenever Iowa would lose and isu would happen to get a decent win. I can think of a couple times where we just got bombarded by isu trolls to tell us how much better they were and how much better the big 12 was. As dumb as it is now for us to say it, it was even dumber back then by your fans.
