Awesome for Lucy! She took a big personal chance stepping into the Big Ten, played with a new team and found her game. Hope she shows out this week. Would love to see her besting these other players.

And yeah, opportunity for all the Iowa players to show something, so would be great to get to have a little run.

Great freshmen in the conference, and hard to remember Juju is still only a sophomore. Need high level players to compete. It's a little disappointing Iowa's freshmen weren't in this high tier of players, but hopefully Iowa can land someone on that list next season (and the season after. I imagine the positive spin here is the implied opportunity available for the 2025 & 2026 recruits to come to Iowa and be the stars.

Congrats to Lucy - well deserved. I hope Stuelke - and especially Affolter- play with a chip on their respective shoulders in the BTT.
Sure, but "a chip" is something usually reserved for someone who is slighted. Do you really think Hannah deserved to be ranked higher given the entirety of the season. I do not. Now I do like the media's list better with Hannah on the 2nd team, and Syd HM. She REALLY came on late in the season. Consider we added 2 top 5 teams to the league this season and those teams are going to eat on these lists. Lucy making the first team is even impressive given the additions of USC and UCLA....

Hannah barely made 2nd team by the media. There were 11 first team players by the media due to ties. In at least some past years, they then adjusted the 2nd team to 9 players, but this year they still put 10 on the second team. Hannah was the last player to make the 2nd team, finishing 21st in the voting for the 2 teams.

AND? Are you actually saying that Hannah played like one of the top 20 players in the conference over the entire season? Remembering the addition of the left coast teams, two of them being ranked in the top 4 the entire year. I'll just respectfully disagree that she was slighted....

I agree with you. Was just clarifying that she only made the bottom of the media’s 2nd team due to ties. I’m fine with her being HM by the coaches.
