Nice win for Purdue today. Though not sure FSU should be rated.
So many good games/tournaments this week.

Also games to watch:

Rutgers is in complete disarray. Fans are calling for former Hawkeye Nadine Domond to replace the current interim coach.

I sure hope Iowa isn't overlooking Rutgers tonight. Vivian will have her team ready and despite their record Rutgers has played some good teams very tough. Iowa needs to take care of business tonight to set up the biggest Iowa women's game in recent memory this Sunday.

Coach Stringer is on leave this season and in no contact with the Rutgers team at all. The acting coach has been blasted by their fans. However, after a dismal start, they have been playing better and won a couple of games recently.

I had no idea, thanks for the info

Darn it Michigan State! Still, thank you for beating Michigan though, or Iowa wouldn't have been the co-champions.

Why didn't those games get made up, those teams that played fewer games .?

Good question. Michigan and Maryland not making up their postponed games with Illinois cost them both a share of the championship. I assume that was Illinois's problem. Should have been a four-way tie at 14-4.

I guess they couldn't fit the games into the schedule, so they were considered a no-contest. Only seven teams played the full 18 game slate.

Darn it Michigan State! Still, thank you for beating Michigan though, or Iowa wouldn't have been the co-champions.
Michigan had a very strange season. Beat co-champ OS twice, co-champ IA once and 4th place MD twice. Yet only came in 3rd because they lost to mediocre NW, NE and MS, plus never made up game with IL.

Iowa’s meltdown against jNW cost them a sole championship.
Iowa still didn't quite get their legs back then against Northwestern. They battled hard to tie the game but couldn't go over the hump. However, the Ohio State game was a complete meltdown at the end. Iowa was in control the whole game even though the lead wasn't big. And then Clark got the ball stolen on two consecutive possessions and lost the lead. It looks like she learned the lesson though. Can't wait to play Ohio State again in the BTT. They knocked out Warnock and Marshall for several games, too. Need to make them pay for this.
