Barring upsets(and I don't see any here) Nebby & Minny will lose tonight and Iowa will jump 3 teams and claim solo place in 9th. Hoping too that USC knocks off UCLA.

Iowa will be tied for eighth if they win tonight regardless of what happens in other games.

What's the reasoning behind hanging onto 18 conference games and not going to 20? Especially with 17 other teams. Plenty of "regional" matchups that should be home/away instead of played just once.

The women's Big Ten tournament is held a week earlier than the men's, thus 1 fewer week to schedule games.

So drop one week of junk games and get into it. Or hold men's/women's tourney same week but staggered days. I like that idea better. Women's ncaa tourney runs one day later than men's anyway.

Dropping junk games likely means 2 less wins for the majority of the teams?

And most junk games are home games where two more conference games are probably one home and one away.

Just a guess on my part.
