Bill Moos new Nebraska AD

OWH is questioning whether Riley will make it to the next game without being terminated.

I think the Ohio State lost Upset the fans worse than the Northern Illinois University loss.

One of the articles of the Omaha World Herald said, MAKE IT STOP!!! :D:D:D:D:D

I forgot to mention that being a PAC 12 athletic director, Moos well understand what a great football mind Mike Riley has and he will be able to continue his pursuit of excellence for another three or four years.

It should only take a few more reboots.
If he keeps mike riley can i become a Bama fan please?

I am kidding please calm down (S

I actually think it is not terrible, he is a big football guy and has had success everywhere

I would hope any new AD at a power 5 conference school would be a big football supporter, given that is dang near every schools flagship athletic program.

I'm sure coaches will be falling all over themselves to coach for a boss that'll be retired in 5 years.

I loved it when Neb hired Riley! And I love this Moos hire!
If this trend continues, look for Moos to bring in Bill Snyder as the next head coach for the Huskers. Although that would actually be a smart move, so forget that.

Nope, next in line at 73 years young is...wait for it...Frank Solich...

If Frost doesn't want any part of NU football I see another mediocre choice. You hire a guy that's close to retirement age to be your next football coaches boss. Not exactly the smartest choice. Yeah he has a lot of experience but every potential coach is going to be thinking what happens when this guy retires.

Imo Neb needs to start thinking older. From AD's to head coaching. They need people running their program that are seasoned, not the fly by the night new hot young coach hire, like they did with Riley.

You have to think, that Nebby is setting the stage for another, younger AD. Moos is good for 5 years. If he can right the ship...to some degree, they may be in better position to hire a quality candidate in 4-5 years. He could be seen as the "fixer" to stop the bleeding.

I agree with this and this way usually means cleaning house and starting over probably not a good sign for the FB and BB coaching staffs

He needs to evaluate where WSU is as a program. Seemed like a quote and philosophy that worked for the last guy. Let it keep working...

LOL @ Lil Debbie's new hire! Another guy in his 60s who sees this as his last stop before retirement! They can't get any young talent to work there since those guys know the unreasonable expectations in huskerland can only ruin careers, not make them!

When was the last time WSU made the NCAA BB tournament?

Legit question. Too lazy to look.
