Not sure, but didn’t Tony Bennett coach there before going to UVA? Took over for his dad, I believe?

During his press conference he spoke about the number of coaches he hired in a five-year period. Also, Nebraska has been frustrated by such a poor basketball program. I was just curious if the new athletic director had had any success in the area of basketball.

I watched them play in Denver probably 7 or 8 years ago. MSU played the other game. It was when MSU had Drew Neitzel. So whatever year that was.

They had a pretty nice season in 2007-08, their last trip. Lost in S16 to UNC.

Kind of weird to hire a 66 year old guy to make a football hire that will hopefully last a couple decades. Usually football coaches like having the hiring AD around for a while; any coach they hire knows for a fact that the AD will be gone relatively soon.
