I learned last night that Iowa athletes have a "Black Card", similar to what other schools have, which allows athletes to get food at participating IC/Coralville fast food places. Apparently the UI has an agreement with some restaurants. The athlete orders their food and then swipes the card which is used like a debit card. I had never heard of such a thing. Iowa State has something similar. I assume this ties into the new rules on getting the athletes enough food. Does anybody have more information on this, or able to enlighten us? Thank you!!
