Blue. Always blue.

Whatever is close or that isn’t already marked on the file. Currently have red, black and blue on my desk. Use all 3 everyday.

Blue. That was the one way you used to easily distinguish an actual signature from a copy but today's modern color printers have made that difficult. Everything is e-signed now anyway...
This has always been my reason for preferring blue pens, even though I know it's outdated now.

Blue. Legal stuff. You can tell the photocopy from the original.

I rarely sign stuff anymore as everything is E-signature or drag & drop signature on a pdf file. Signature has gone to crap because of that.

Blue Pilot G-2 07

extra fine, 05 pens are too scratchy

Our office carries the black G2 07. I can't tell you the last time I even got half the ink out of it before it just quit writing. Not impressed with them anymore.

Honestly, with the amount of pens I lose or leave at nurses stations, some of my favorites are the cheap ones from Dollar Tree. I don't get too worked up if I lose our have to throw out a pen I spent 12-25 cents on. And they don't smear like a gel pen.
