Black uniforms for a nighy game. A bad idea?

What do you think? It is hard to see pedestrians and bicyclist in low light. Does it make it harder to spot receivers down field? Wouldn't it be better to have a bright color? And the crowd all in black makes the stadium look empty at night. Shouldn't blackouts be saved for day games?
