I've pondered that. There are efficiency based metrics that show a Top 5 overall SOS for Team C (KenPom)

Where are these SOS numbers coming from? ESPN's are so different. I find ESPN's so much easier to follow and feel that it makes so much more sense. BTW it has Iowa with a SOS of #8 and a NCSOS of #26. So figure that out. Take a look at their breakdown....

C has more quad 1 and 2 games where B has 6 wins against quad 3. What gives??

Also why should beating team 75 count any different than team 76?
Or why is beating OSU worth more than IL? Teams change during the year, why act like they are the same through the entire season?

Honestly, Team D should have a higher NET because of all those Quad 1A wins and no bad losses, and good SOS. Just hope the committee uses the NET as a "little better than RPI" type of tool and that's all, because the NET is very WTF at times.

Correct which flipping sucks.. Iowa would be in contention for 2-3 seed if they were using ESPN and Kenpom Sos... those are available to the committee now I hope they notice the discrepancy.
