Gave Ayala a tussle!Someone please fill me on all the good stuff why I should be excited Ryder Block is a hawk.
Voelker is visiting UNC this weekendAnd so it continues.
What a week.
Coinciding with the resurgence of Iowa high school wrestling is a very good sign going forward. It's been a VERY long time(Cory Clark years) since the State had so many national level recruits.
Good times ahead.
Not to derail this thread, but I keep thinking Voelker could be next, even though he's a pretty good football player. If he decides he's 100% wrestling in college, and concentrates on that, I think he's got potential. JMO
Congrats and Welcome Ryder Block...i can ONLY IMAGINE the monikers and nicknames that will be used to tell success stories about this young man !! i understand he comes from a very solid wrestling family...thereby making him a "Chip" off the Old Block..... sorry i just had to do it..........................
Secret commit? TnT just want KD to spend resources to recruit them so they can announce at a later date.I thought Naaktgeboren brothers might have been next!
Someone please fill me in on all the good stuff why I should be excited Ryder Block is a hawk
State title as a freshman, lost to Ayala in the finals last year after beating him during the season. Top 8 at the national tourneys he has entered (Cadet trials etc). Could be a kid that grows a bit. After watching a crapload of Sebolt kids this past spring and summer, I have came away impressed with their sheer volume of attacks and aggression.
ranked 14 nationally by flo as a junior. top 5-8 at his weight come next year. solid solid commit. Get Tate and voelker for a clean 🧹
Riggins is class of 2022 I believeExcellent news! His trajectory is heading in the right direction. Him and Riggins are both going to continue to rise in the 2023 recruit rankings.
I read 57any ideas what weight he projects at college..... I realize how much a kid grows is always unknown but 141/149 maybe?
yea 😂 I just read the article too came back to delete postI read 57
I would guess 149-165.any ideas what weight he projects at college..... I realize how much a kid grows is always unknown but 141/149 maybe?
You’re right. My bad. I still think he’ll finish the year top 20-25 for 2022.Riggins is class of 2022 I believe
Agree with what you said about Sebolt. I think what you can expect from their kids is physicality, aggressiveness, and crisp technique on the leg attacks.State title as a freshman, lost to Ayala in the finals last year after beating him during the season. Top 8 at the national tourneys he has entered (Cadet trials etc). Could be a kid that grows a bit. That bird Desanto's cousin? If this was an Air Force a call sign nomination party, “Cock” or "Rooster" would have to be in there somewhere. Here is a gif of one pushing the pace and forcing his opponent out of bounds.
