Appears not to be suspicious.

"The U.S. Space Force is tracking debris in space after a satellite manufactured by Boeing exploded earlier this week, the satellite's operator said.

The Intelsat 33e satellite, which was launched in 2016 and provides communications across Europe, Asia and Africa, experienced "an anomaly" on Saturday, Intelsat said in a news release. Attempts were made to work with Boeing and repair the satellite, but on Monday, the U.S. Space Force confirmed that the satellite had exploded."

This seems very strange. How does a solar powered satellite in geostationary orbit just explode? Is there a small amount of rocket fuel onboard for limited maneuvering and could that just self-combust?

I’m not normally a conspiracy theory guy, but wonder if something hit it and ruptured whatever fuel tank it might have had. Maybe a small meteor, other space debris, or maybe Russia practicing with their space weapons?

And people out here thinking Musk is the threat to national security...

Instead of investing and improving
Its products, Boeing gave $58m in profits back to their investors between 2013 - 2019. The problem was they actually only earned $53m in profits over that time and had to borrow the rest.

Maybe it got mixed up for other targets in China’s anti-satellite test program (ASAT).

And just a quick note, this was a satellite from 2016.
