Last year I was jealous of Northwestern for having Bryant McIntosh. Jordan Bohannon ended that envy as soon as he took over the starting role. Craftiness, moxie, fearlessness, toughness—all these things I admire in McIntosh, Jordan has in spades.

But after last night, and after last year having watched Villanova live both in practice and in games, I'm seeing Ryan Arcidiacono type of leadership and ability to perform in "winning time."

So I'm going to say that Bohannon is (because I can't think of an Iowa guy, not even Horner)… Ryan Arcidiacono.

We have a good one, and he's just a freshman.

Bohannon has so much drive and grit and mental toughness. His pinned tweet on twitter talks about his wanting to succeed due to others always saying he can't. He is going to will himself into an absolute upper echelon all BIG Player when it is all said and done. Glad he is a Hawk!

Yeah. I didn't think he would be the contributor that he is. Tough kid. I like tough kids. Toughness can overcome a lot.

Bohannon has been great so far. I do hope that he doesn't wear down as the year goes on. He played 36 minutes in a tough physical game last night. When you play this many minutes it is a set up for a let down in the next game.

FWIW this is not a criticism on Fran, just a concern when playing so many young guys who have not been through a long and exhausting season before. I would take a win over Purdue any day of the week

Love that he looks like he doesn't belong and he just produces every time out. He is undersized but he plays much bigger and stronger than he looks. Right now, he would be the best pg Fran has had, credit the coaches for seeing how good the kid could be.

And that crap didn't need to be thrown out other than to slam MG.
Some people can't do anything without try g to knock someone else down.
It shows their true character though.
It was just a comparison to what we had the last four years, not knocking anyone else down. MG was a good player, but I like JB better. I think he brings more to the table.
