I was reading through the JBo thread over on CF and that's my first time being on that website. Is that an accurate reflection of all threads cyclones engage in? You see delusional people from all fan bases (we have plenty delusional Hawks) but I've never seen so many incompetent, delusional fans. Maybe Nebraska... but holy cow I felt my IQ lower with every comment I read in that thread.
Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but I don't care for this type of thing.

I've met many rational, well-adjusted Cyclone fans over the years. None of them would be represented on that site.

I have many friends and family members who aren't like that either. That's why I asked if all threads were like that over there but looking back I didn't word it very well to clearly state that.

Agreed. Everyone (well all Iowa fans) think Niang is a douche for blowing kisses at the Iowa crowd in CHA. We love it when Keith Duncan does it to the Nebraska bench when kicking a game-winning FG. Within bounds, it's pretty harmless. Bohannon further endeared himself to Iowa fans just by calling Ames "Lames" no matter the outcome tomorrow. If Iowa happens to win and/or Bohannon hits some big shots in said win, it becomes even bigger.
Niang's thing never bothered me either, it's all part of the game. Trash talk & this type of stuff is good for sports. Too many times Iowa fans, as well as other college fans, take it way too seriously & it reminds me of the Penn State fan who wrote in about tattoos & dreads. Get over yourself people, this is entertainment. Embrace it.
I think you two might be a little over sensitive. The comment and pic posted in this thread is no big deal.

Love it. Bulletin board material is so fake. If you weren’t gonna play hard if someone didn’t say something, that says more about you than anything else. It’s funny if the team that talks trash loses. Their comment gave extra motivation. But if said team wins, losing team doesn’t say anything. I say if you don’t have balls to talk before the game. Don’t pretend u grew some after. Love J Bo, that’s why when it’s on the line he is fearless. Talking after a game to me is cowardly. I am perfectly ok if your modest before and after.

Niang's was at the end of an amazing run by ISU - they hit almost everything they shot for about 5 mins.
As long as it's fairly clean and to the crowd - big deal.
My favorite crowd move was overlooked by almost everyone. Aaron Grieving in the Alamo Bowl when he did the Ttech "guns up" to "guns down" to his crotch after scoring was fricking great.
Now CF - it does represent a lot of their fans. Just watch the crowd on almost every call in Hilton - it's crazy how they bitch on almost every call.
And thats what we'll miss the most if JBO sits the rest of the year out. Dude can sack up in crunch time. For all his physical limitations he's a gamer. Probably the most like him, (although he gets a red ass pretty quick), is CMac. He will be very important down the stretch, because he and Luka won't back down from anyone....
If JBo just goes off tonight or - better yet -nails the game-winner ... I'll probably need to be restrained for my own safety. Probably wouldn't hurt to wear a Depends, either.
