You know JoBo will be soaking this one in tonight. There's a good chance he has a hand in potentially selling this thing out. Cyclone nation would want nothing more to see him lose in his last ISU matchup. Jordan loves the idea of being a villain, and I can see him playing a big role in Iowa's success tonight, whether that's a big game in the stat column or knocking down clutch shots towards the end. Would love to see him go out on top, and leave his jersey on the court this time.

Tell me the last time the ISU-Iowa MBB game in Hilton did NOT sell out.

I’m thinking JBO won’t play much of a factor tonight..

He needs to be limited to a situational player. Maybe bring him in out of timeouts and run some sets, late in the half, things like that. He does little to nothing that justifies more then 10-12 minutes per game.

The two times Bohannon has been shut down this year? Illinois and Purdue. Trent Frazier/Brad Underwood have played/coached against Bohannon like six times. Purdue and Painter have seen him even more than that.

Unfortunately, Iowa State’s backcourt has a couple of former Big Ten guys in Brockington and Kalscheur who pretty much know what’s up with Bohannon too. However this is Otzelberger’s first time game planning for Iowa since Jordan’s been here. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s got the boys ready to play up in Jordan’s grill for 20 minutes and take away his shot

This would be sold out without JBo, him playing has nothing to do with it.

They need to do whatever they can to get JBO open shots and hope he can knock them down. Unfortunately we do not seem to be able to do this regularly. If he's not shooting them he needs to be on the bench and Tony in. End of game dramatics and JBO back in.

Most likely answer.

Jordans ability to get shots off is mostly dependent on Iowa either offensive rebounding and kicking out or transition looks.

In the half court Brockington will smother him just like the last two opponents.

Thats what I'm thinking.

High likely hood they know what to do but if they spend most of their prep on others he might get some looks.

Thanks for the shoe drop JBo.

That's how a team with 0 in-state players becomes more hungry for the in-state rivalry game than the team with 6 in-state players.

Jackass moves will always come back to bite to you even if it's in an unexpected way

I dont think any players on iowa states team played the way they did because Jbo left his shoes on the court! I think 25% shooting and rebounding played a bigger role!!!
