Boise State blue turf

Never liked it. It hurts my eyes so I boycott all BSU games on TV

This should not be allowed. They're basically invisible on that field. The jerseys or pants should be required to be white.

I've always thought that uniform colors could be a huge advantage. Here's are black ones blending in with the crowd nicely.

Someone has a red field that’s even worse.

My favorite color usage was Texas burnt orange the exact color of a football, which made bootlegs effective because after faking a handoff the football blended into the QB’s uni.

UNI should have put in Purple turn IMO a couple years ago.

People would buy tickets just to see it.

They should have gotten rid of the gimmick when they were good.

Oh and Central Arkansas.

I haven't seen a "tint" button on a TV in 20 years.

Neither have I.
You go into the video menus, where you can also adjust contrast, picture, brightness, etc.

Protip: Many Smart TVs have viewing "modes" for cinema, sports, etc.

Yeah... I just do the modes. I don't try to fine-tune anything.

I agree with OP and all who refer to those as eye-sores. The only good non-green turf is the black turf the Milwaukee Wave play on at the old Mecca, now UWM Panther Arena...

The field color is annoying af, but I’m not sure it gives them a competitive advantage. Remember, the opposing players aren’t looking at them from camera level against backdrop of the field like we are on television. They’re looking at them horizontally from eye level.
