Looks like a tough D for Purdue to defend. Methinks the Boilermakers could open the season at 0-4 ... ouch!
Really wish we could have played them in a decent environment, would have been a really fun game. Dillon is an absolute stud.
I think you hit in right on the head .. I think Brohm might be in for a long season at PUDue.. They were my dark horse for winning the west however they just can’t seem to get the ship righted
Personally, I believe if Louisville offers, he's gone in a ten seconds. Purdue is a great academic institution but it is a basketball school as a revenue leader. Not many major football recruits are not going to Purdue. The kids Purdue used to get now probably split among Northwestern and Indiana
Brohm will cut his losses and find a another program to lead very soon. Purdue may have mild winning hopes but I doubt Brohm can have annual success in the west division.

You have to be able to play defense. I think that folks looked at PU's defensive turnaround last year and attributed it too much ONLY to the coaching. They didn't account for the fact that Purdue had a lot of talented guys on D who were tired of losing ... but who finally were receiving some good coaching.
Purdue's D will invariably improve as the season progresses ... they just had to replace way too many quality guys.
