on political topics i see some posters from each side have the latest up to date links and talking points (that later turn out to be the official viewpoints as presented on tv). the links and tweets are usually relevant and clearly meant to further one side of the narrative

so here’s a collective question that has no doubt occurred to a lot of folks that frequent this place. do these posters receive official newsletter type communiques from the pros which they redistribute in retail channels (like hrot)? or is it truly amateur work?

to be clear, i have zero problem either way. even if i’m getting the party lines i appreciate the easy access. i don’t want to list the handles, everyone knows. but would be great to get responses from them

The chair of the county GOP office somehow got my email address and sends stupid stuff to me once in awhile. But it's not "breaking news" or anything like that. Usually just reminders to vote, or tips on making sure you are still registered to vote, or how to sign up for vote by mail, that sort of thing.
