Personally, I don’t really care. I have wanted to go to the Music City Bowl/Nashville for years…but I won’t be spending another dollar to watch this dumpster fire of a season.

Yesterday just completely destroyed any interest I had in going. It felt like the Western Michigan debacle. We were not really even competitive and got lucky to get back into it even.
Nashville will be everyone's hope because it's actually a cool place that host a shitty bowl.

Nashville is a blast. I don't care for country music but the quality of the bands in the small hole-in-the-wall bars is very high. They come from all over trying to break into the country music scene.

True. But the fact that it's driveable and with how many country music fans are in Iowa I bet the music city would be a decent turnout. Same with Phoenix with how many Hawks are down there but if it's pinstripe it will be horrid attendance

I get it, the rose can do what the rose wants to do fwiw. Like I said, I think I was thinking more in line with the lrevious year when we dropped. That being said if thr rose would have said " we are taking Iowa, the west champion, because we feel we want someone other than Ohio state here" no one would have said they had to take osu.
Our trip to Pinstripe in 2017 (?) was suppose to inoculate us from having to go there again for like 8 years, according to then-existing Big Ten Bowl placing rules.

Bowl games were cool in 2004 but they won’t mean shit next year when we go to a 12 team format.
Will watch but don't really care if win or lose, now if Kirk goes nuts and plays the younger qb's to give some glimpse of the future I would be more interested.
