Really glad he's getting some playing time.
He was a good Hawkeye and a good kid. He deserves to have some fun on the field.

Watched a bit of the game. If he'd gone to a better school, I still think he could have had some success, but Indiana State is trash in football, and have been for a long time. Looked like he was pressing at times, but he was also making some nifty plays with his feet, keeping things alive.
That smartass post (par for the course) is really based on zero evidence.
Passing stats on that team are pretty misleading as they have 208 rushing attempts in 4 games.

You can bash him, but he wasn't getting time on the field for Iowa, so I think it's great he found another opportunity to play the position (QB) that he wants to.
Indiana St's football program is terrible. Putting Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers, etc on that team isn't going to make them win a ton of games.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Boyle has had a more successful college football career as a QB than anyone on this board.
First of all I wasn't bashing the kid whatsoever, I just seen the score and assumed he didn't do too much beings they didn't score, that's it.
Boyle and Indiana State nearly knocked off #3 SDSU, 54-51. Boyle gets MVFC player of the week.
