BRADY BERGE Interview

In my opinion it seems as though Warner is darn near a lock to be a Hawkeye, and Brady hasn't given college as much thought as he has. Also seems he hasn't grown as much as thought, he said he could make 152 for Fargo but will be wrestling up at 170 for folkstyle and the team. Realistically he could be anywhere from 157-174 I think, as of right now it doesn't seem like he'll be a 184 anytime in the near future.

But I'd still love to have him, would add to stacked middleweights in 157-174 range
Kemerer, Troy, Marinelli, Young, Berge all top 25 overall recruits in that range. Whichever 3 come out as the starters in those weights will be studs no doubt.

Put one of those guys mentioned above at 149 for a year and everyone could be happy.

Nailed that interviews Todd! Thanks for the interview and really hope we can land Brady!

Young is a hard one to gauge. He was stuck behind Joseph Kem and all those guys for years. He's now bigger and has really been taking it to guys. He won a pretty impressive bracket at s32. Young may also still be growing.
I bet Berge is a 149/157, he hasn't got any taller since his freshman year. The matches I watched from cadet worlds, he looked small at 152 or 69kg. I don't see him being as big as his brother. Just my opinion.

As far as who is at what weight, it always has a way of working itself out. Of that group, I just see Young being the best bet to grow into 184. He has the frame and his career is really on a sharp incline.

The main thing is to get all of these guys in the room. It will work out just fine.

This is the way that Iowa Wrestling was back in the day.

"The Room" will decide.
