Sounds like the Braves are in rebuild mode until they get their new stadium

IT was a move that makes sense for the Braves. In order to get rid of BJ/Melivns 40mm contract they had to include Kimbrel. Lets be honest he wasnt going to have many save opportunities in the next 2 years anyways.

They got the Padres top prospect in return. Losing Kimbrel hurts now because he was the Braves best player but should be a good trade in a few years.
