Gowdy's insistence that this was an informational hearing not meant to prosecute Hillary got me wondering how many times various things were brought up, in particular how many times Obama was mentioned since he used to be the focal point of the GOP's investigation. One would think that if this was an informational hearing, the President would be brought up early and often. So here's a breakdown:
  • "Obama" -- as in the president -- seven mentions
  • "Stevens" -- as in the late Ambassador Chris Stevens -- 49 mentions
  • "Chris" -- just his first name with nothing else -- 16 mentions
  • "Benghazi" -- as in the site of the attack -- 139 mentions
  • "Sidney Blumenthal" -- as in Clinton's longtime confidant -- 49 mentions
  • "e-mail" -- in reference to the private account that Clinton had -- 118 mentions
Doesn't look good for the claim that this wasn't all about Hillary.

Well those are some of the names involved and the place where the attack took place so is this really a shock to anyone? If your judging off the number of times mentioned then I guess it really is about Benghazi since that had the most mentions.

Remember the joke, "How do you make sure President Obama never says anything about you?

Change your name to Ben Ghazi."
