BREAKING: Secretary of Defense Austin to announce mandatory vaccine policy for all active duty military

Something something Gop'rs are Authoritarians something something.

I gotthe vax, the government shouldn't be forcing anyone to do this.
I see you got your talking points from 🇨🇳 China.
They are proud of you.

China would love for our military to not be vaccinated.

I actually would be in favor of mandating it for every US citizen. Time to end this shit yesterday.
Saint Fauci said today vaccinated people are still candidates for “long Covid” and easily spread the virus. Would every single American getting vaccinated “end this shit”?

Secretary of oh what’s his name…

And yet that sleepy dementia’d old
coot is executing his plan for full blown marxism/communism/socialism (take your pick of whatever it is you righties are calling him this week) in tremendously efficient fashion. The end of American capitalism is nigh

I got drafted during the Vietnam war. The first thing they did after we got off the bus at Ft. Bragg was march us in and TOLD us to give blood to be sent overseas.

Huge, huh? People in the military get shots and orders to do stuff all the time that they aren’t too keen about. Only in your world do you worry about a huge number of snowflakes refusing a vaccine that 150 million or so Americans have already safely taken.

LOL. Worried?

Just pointing out that there may be some people that say GFY. The military has struggled with the recruiting for years.

So instead you want the unvaccinated working in the food industry?

I assume you already know that COVID does not spread through food handling.

Either way, it's a fair trade-off. Most in the military will salute and get their shot. They tend to have a greater sense of civic duty that the typical MAGAT. So we will get a big spike in our vaccination efforts.

Those who quit can practice saying "would you like fries with that" while wearing a mask.

Well, yeah, but they will be having contact with many more people.

So, you’ve gone from huge to some, and then hooked recruiting with no supporting documentation. Solid work today. If recruiting is down the last few years I can think of two big reasons why.

Did you get any shots with the air gun or just needles?

The military isn't a democracy. Never has been.

The military has always required it's members to have a laundry list of vaccines.

Don't like it don't join.

And what happens when they refuse? Court martial and discharge a huge portion of your ranks?

Probably

They swore to obey the lawful orders of the president and the officers appointed above them. Joe Biden is the president. Austin is the Sec of Defense and this is a lawful order.

UCMJ states the punishment for this can be 6 months in the brig, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and a bad conduct discharge.
