Brooks?

Got a little dinged up. Certainly didn't seem to be 100% in his loss today. We would have been in good shape had he not dropped that one. Need him to come back strong tomorrow, along with others.

Yep, if we're going to win it's going to be in the wrestlebacks. Probably need a champ or two as well

He shouldn't have lost to McCutcheon. Period. Maybe that will be a wake call that the time to be conservative is at the very end of a match when you have a stall call to give. He started aggressive, rode hard, and then throttled back against a lesser opponent.

Agreed. I guess what bums me out more than anything is I really like what he brings to the table, but the last month or so he has definitely regressed. Then he's quoted earlier this week about how bad it felt to sit out and watch Lofthouse wrestle last year, then he lays a turd in his next crack at it, as the #1 seed.

IF he wrestles back to 3rd, I don't think it has much of an impact on his Nationals seed, unless they completely discount his regular season. You've got Pfarr and Abounader in the Finals, neither of whom should be seeded ahead of him not matter what happens.

If Abounader beats Pfarr he will likely be seeded ahead of Brooks at NCAA's,since he beat him to n the dual meet

looking at the brackets, Brooks could face McCutcheon again today for the 3rd place match...
