I'm not passing judgement on Bruce. He is a very engaging guy, funny and approachable. He is a helluva coach, period. I can see why recruits would want to play for him.

I personally like Bruce a lot. He screwed up a couple times (probably more) and served penalties for it. He is over the top but is genuine in it. He could sell snow in Antarctica but he can also coach. Honestly, and I will probably get crushed for this, but he and Fleck are kind of similar. Their fans and kids seem to love them but those on the outside roll their eyes. Remember when Bruce went shirtless for a Tennessee women’s game? To be clear, Bruce has done more than Fleck but was simply saying maybe his flavor isn’t for everyone but they seem to be consistent and their fans and players love them. But Bruce is a fun guy to be around.

Suter - spot on. Like I said, a little quirky but he is consistent so actually feels genuine with his conviction and enthusiasm and you can see being around him for about 10 seconds why kids want to play for him. And I am happy for him. That Deon Thomas debacle is usually career suicide but he fought his ass back from the coaching graveyard.
