Haven't watch the early one but is replay often. Wonder if they will tell the story of Nicholas's sister and Fran.... Got it DVR and will watch it later.

Just watched it, not only that story but interviews of his sister, Elizabeth, and Fran emphasizing the importance of recruiting Iowa players who wants to play for the home state. I think it shows how genuine Fran is on wanting Iowa kids to play, especially with Baer's success story. Good thing about it, we have him for two more years after this year. Can we get Settles to come in and show him how to get 6 years of eligibility, lol.

Replays again tomorrow at 1:30 pm and 10 pm, Hawk fans should check it out.

Some excellent video moments from his career! He represents the state and Hawkeyes well. Fran pays him the ultimate credit; he earned his scholarship.

Really was a good show. His sister walking into Fran's office and getting him a shot is one of the better stories I've heard.

I really do love this show, I wish they made more of them. The one from the Iowa vs Michigan FB game last year, the Iowa vs MSU BB last year - they really put together some cool stuff. It really give us a glimpse into these kids' lives and what kind of people they are. Couldn't care less about players from other teams but I'll watch anything that has our boys on it!

Who was the big center for Illinois a few years back? Couldn't stand him as a player, but The Journey episode about his brother's surprise return from the military to visit him was cool. I never served, nor did my immediately family, but those videos of surprise reunions always tug at my heart strings.
