The way Boren keeps running his mouth about the conference you may be correct. The grant of rights wasn't renewed past 2025, I am probably wrong on that date.
Once Oklahoma goes to the SEC or B1G, it will be curtains. Texas should just go the Notre Dame route, everybody else can play for the CFP. Those two can compete every year for the National Narcissist Trophy.
