Bundasliga Fans?

I’m hoping to see a game in Germany next fall but it looks like I might have a better shot at a second tier game.

Anyone here have experience buying tickets, game day experience, recommendations? Are second tier games any fun? Any ‘best’ relegated teams out there?

We are kind of open to the cities we visit, so I’ll take anything go for.

HIGHLY recommend FC St. Pauli of 2.Bundesliga at Millerntor, next to Hamburg’s red light district. To be upfront, my sister went and loved it but I haven’t been. I also had a German friend from Hamburg that has raved about the atmosphere at the Freebooters’ games even though he’s an Hamburg SV fan. The atmosphere is great, especially for big rivals like HSV. They even walk out to AC/DC like Iowa…

Looks like we are going to see Magdeburg v Braunschweig. Just worked out with with rest of our itin.
