The next day, according to the complaint, Bowles was eating by himself in the training center when he was confronted by players Geraldo Orta and Marlin Lane (who had been accused of rape by another woman in 2013). According to Bowles, Orta told him that people got shot for this sort of thing.

On the 247 Vols board, they all claim its made up, Alabama is paying Bowles to lie, and other assorted craziness.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. This is very bad if true. However, I would think that TN knew about this and still got the coaches to have a press conference defending the school. If I was one of their coaches and knew about this allegation, I would want to have a full explanation before I would stand up there with Jones. It will be curious to see if this goes to trial and how credible Jones and Bowles are in their testimony.
