Buy Iowa: They're never going to be sexy, but man, the Hawkeyes just continue to look impressive. They're essentially the Big Ten's version of LSU -- run game, great defense and just enough from the QB to keep winning.

Iowa put up some great passing numbers in the Big 10 so far, rushing numbers not that impressive but let's not let that get in the way of a chance to perpetuate the stereotype of good old Iowa.

Stanley is the reigning O'Brien national QB of the week, throws for over 300 yards and six TDs, but Iowa goes to the ground game on Saturday because they were playing in a gale and, yep, there's nothin' but cornfields in Iowa.... It's lazy, unprofessional, and disgusting, but that's really in vogue these days, so don't expect anything to change.

Besides, what's really important in any college football telecast is that the female sideline reporter can push an SUV and loves Hamburg Inn ice cream creations.
