I'm long on this team. Think of where this team may be in two years with Moss, Pemsl, jBO, Cook, CM, JWeis, Baer, Kreiner, Garza et al. Maybe I'm a contrarian but this team is going to be VERY good in two years. Who's with Rick?

I think you could be right. if we could just add a super athletic, strong 7 footer that protects the rim with a mean streak, we could be diamond. Do we have a recruiter in nigeria?
I won't get emotional this year, unlike with the damn football team. I knew there would likely be more lows than highs. Just looking for development regardless of the record.
I do not believe Connor is the answer at point guard. I believe he will be a fine player for us if he decides to concentrate on B ball but he's not a pure point guard. This team will be MUCH better next year in a lot of ways, but then you will have to replace Jok's 20+ points per game.
Buy low sell high. These guys will grow significantly this year. And They will pull some upsets. We will take some hits. But as the season progresses and when we get back to a full roster with Cook & Jones, we will be a much different team than we were at the beginning of the season.
Next year and well into the future we will have a good team.
This could be very good team in future years. But Fran's got to take a stand on defensive improvement now in order to get there.
Yep...most of the team seem to not be too concerned with defense. A lot of bad habits, that need to be broken on the defensive end. Offense seems ok.
Heck with it, go to practice and say we are DONE practicing offense this week.. Defense drills only, no shots. Stay after practice to get your shots up. Send a message. Sit guys on the bench, when they've made a defensive mistake, but be a little lenient on offensive mistakes, so they don't over think and play tight on O.
This is what they need to do to finish the year. Run a few different sets of offense at the beginning of each practice, then concentrate on nothing but defense. Demand good D. Play it with intensity, or hit the bench. Play good team D, or hit the bench.
Do this for the remainder of the season. We may have a problem with the bench being too full. But eventually they will pick it up. It can't hurt anyhow.
