Bye, bye, Brendan

My expectations are very low for this coming season.

We have so many ? at nearly every level on offense and defense.

OL and DL have the most experience, and we are really hoping for major breakthroughs for both.

We lost 45% of our offensive production
A new QB who won’t build up reps until June/July
Little to no experience to back him up
RBs who are serviceable, but can they duplicate KJ scoring output ?
WR, I mean who knows. The service academy throws more than us

That’s just the offense which has held Iowa back for nearly half a decade (and more but really bad these last five years).

But who knows, I remember thinking 2015 was going to be brutal with the rumblings of the OL being horrible, and we know how season ended up

Why is it "funny" that people are discussing consequences of losing a QB who played in 9 games last year, started 4, was by far the most effective QB in at least 5 years by every objective measure, and was by far the best and most experienced QB in spring camp, leaving Iowa with a ton of question marks regarding what happens if they lose their injury-prone starter yet again, which has happened in each of the past 3 seasons?

Your "backup QB" narrative has been blown out of the water, and you are only showing how little you know about football. Now THAT'S what's funny.
Fan fascination with backup QB's 🤣😂🤣
