BYE WEEKS ARE STUPID- BOWL GAME LAYOFFS AS WELL

1) Fans have to wait an extra week usually in the part of the year where the weather is the best to see a game.

2) Some teams secure an unfair advantage over opponents having a week off while others lose momentum they have gained.

Waiting a month to play a bowl game is really stupid. 2 weeks would be sufficient. Give a team a month off and everything changes.

The season should start for everyone the saturday after Labor Day and end on the same date. Let's call it 11 weeks period ending week before Thansgiving. Yeah that's right guess what that's 2 non conference games 8 conference games and if needed a conference championship game. After that a 2 week break followed by a bowl game and it's all wrapped up before Christmas.

I hate bye weeks because I don't get to watch the Hawks play. That's the only reason I hate bye weeks, though. i know they're good for most teams to get healthier, help the younger players get more practice time, and make significant tweaks to O, D, and ST schemes and plays. But I'd still rather watch the Hawks play tomorrow.

I'm mad because I could watch them tomorrow with the rain coming but more than likely will have to dvr the game next week
