CA still counting Super Tuesday votes?

Whatever their practices are, do better.
It's neither better nor worse. Simply different, as everyone has their own rules of how/when people can vote, and how and when those votes are counted, and in what order.

PA i believe doesn't allow mail-in/absentee ballots to be counted until after polls close on election day.

It isn’t just California. Let’s get the vote counted in a reasonable time. It’s not that much to ask. Other states do it.
Until 2020, and the mail-in ballot totals skyrocketed, this wasn't really a concern. It's both the upside/downside of how we run elections, with each state having their own rules.

Sounds good. Start writing your legislator.

Of course if we did that, republicans wouldn’t be able to cry foul.
Don’t live in California. But I do live in Arizona, and they have a lot of problems of their own with the election process. And no, I’m not saying elections have been stolen.

No election system is perfect, there's always room for improvement.

As much as it would make sense to have federal elections operate by the same set of rules nationwide, this is another situation where we're screwed by the Constitution, because the Founding Fathers didn't think election rules would grow to vary so much per state.

What do you consider a reasonable time?
California has a later date so all mail-in ballots are received and counted. Do you feel mail-in ballots should be required to be received prior to election day?

10 minutes. Seriously though, your state seems to have improved their process.

Just eliminate mail in ballots.

Of course that makes it harder to cheat. Democrats like to know what the numbers are so they can fabricate the numbers needed to win late at night. That’s how you end up with massive 4:00am “mail in” ballot dumps.

Start counting them as they come in and don’t wait until Election Day.
You realize there are states with rules that preclude this, right? So go to those states and lobby to have their rules changed to suit you. Otherwise, let them get their count right so you don't have liars claiming stolen elections.

Democrats always keep counting until the desired outcome is reached.

This is why people question the time it takes to count, for those wondering. The narrative.

They believe stuff like "the democrats are cheating".

Is this a situation like four years ago in Iowa where everybody blamed the state for the caucus night fiasco even though it was the DNC’s meddling that caused the problems? Or is this truly a California problem?

That 2020 situation really felt like someone forced an issue to happen so that they could get Iowa out of the lead spot. And they were successful.

Then you are saying Oregon should not hold elections? Oregon has been an exclusive “mail in ballot” state for several years....,which elections there are fraudulent SA?

Is this a joke?

You know it's not. This is the undercurrent to all of the "election integrity" stuff you hear from republicans. "I'm not saying the election was 'stolen' but I agree we need better election integrity". The entire reason election integrity is in question now is from "The election was stolen!!" nonsense.

I wonder what the reaction will be if Trump loses again?

Colorado as well. I’m sure he has a laundry list of fraud from here too that he can share

^^^^^^That is exactly what it was. Perez wanted Iowa outta there and he schemed and plotted and put Iowa in a place impossible to succeed with a faulty vote count scheme to get the job done.
Perezis a scoundrel.

So, you are in favor of eliminating voting for our servicemen and women deployed overseas?

It was pretty transparent. Iowa managed caucuses since the 1800s including being the first state as far back as 1972, two decades before the WWW, with no problem. Then the DNC forces some special app to report results and everything goes to heck.

So Democrats will bring multiple lawsuits, conduct FBI raids, inflict financial damage and attempt to remove a candidate from the ballot but if Trump wins Pennsylvania or Michigan by less than a thousand votes they will be like shucks I guess Trump is the next president? Really?

They will be counting, re-counting and finding votes all over the place. Oh shit here’s a 600 votes 99% for Biden that Jimmy forgot in his trunk

Sorry I don’t believe you.

What will your side do if/when they lose? Hmmm

Wow.

Articles like this always seem to ignore that each state has their own set of rules regarding counting ballots, when ballots can be received, etc.
This is very true.

That said, what should a state's standard be for getting votes counted? Is it acceptable the process take longer than a day or two? This is the 21st century.
