I have a friend/former mentor in Pacific Palisades whose house was destroyed. Her husband is an architect and they built their dream home overlooking the water.

She’s in her 70’s. I can’t imagine all she’s lost.

Not yet, but he’s been babbling and name calling. Then, the MAGAs are all enjoying this happening in a “blue state” and also babbling about it.

The focus should be on getting people to safety, getting fired under control and then when it’s over trying to come up with a solution to attempt to prevent this from happening again. Not sure that’s possible with the right conditions of dry and winds… seems like this had the perfect recipe for a fire disaster. Truly tragic for all of those involved.

Wrong. Common sense is coming back to the Whitehouse which we desperately need. Common sense would have prevented this entirely. Many people looked at the situation in CA and predicted this would happen. Unfortunately they were absolutely correct. It was the priorities of the government that caused this so it's pretty hard to keep politics out of the conversation.

I have spoken to a couple wildland firefighters that worked in NoCal and this is pretty much what they said as well. These things are literally a force of nature that will do what they're going to do.

Who gives a fück what he has to say about this. Trump just continues to sow division and hatred and Elon is right there with him at a time when they need all hands on deck to mitigate this, not point fingers.

Anyone who works for a living understands this. The time to question is after the mitigation. A real leader would know that.
