Official did see him and started to give TO to Iowa...then he didn’t.

The play was a good call. If everyone is ready for the snap, young catches the ball and walks in much like Wadley against Michigan in 2016. Stanley has got to call the TO. I hope he learns from this.

The ball was nowhere near Young. It was like a 3 yard overthrow. Yet another terrible pass by Stanley. There was no rush at this point of the game - If Stanley was a real leader, he would have called timeout when he realized the play clock was near zero.
Oh and it is a good play call but execution was terrible

Honestly, I disagree with this thread. You run the ball 3, maybe 4 times in that situation, no matter what the defensive look is. If you fail, then you have all 3 timeouts to force a punt and go right back down again and try again. No one should be confused or flailing around or looking for Mom on the sideline. Run, run, run, pass. TO, TO, TO. Pass pass pass. Basic.

Fant probably would have got called for offensive pass interference anyway. Has had a knack for that
