He's the 3 star WR by 247 Sports from Florida. Anyway, earlier this week or last week, I believe he said that he was going to sign in February. He was scheduled to visit FIU this weekend, but he is no longer doing that and he will sign with a school next week. He took an official visit to Iowa this past weekend. Take this info as you please

Solid work. I had not heard he was going to skip FIU. I believe he would be a good get for us. I know it's a highlight video but he didn't get caught from behind once in his. We need more of that.

Go Kelton Copeland, reel him in! Between he and Coach Bell, some great recruiters out on the trail. Coach Bell has some good recent stuff on his twitter feed regarding recruiting/star rankings and who Iowa targets.

Just watched his film, very solid. Realize it's highlights, however good body control, good wheels and catches ball with his hands most of time. Lots of jump ball/fade catches too, maybe plays early as RZ receiver? Then again, I thought that about B. Smith..

I wouldn't write off B Smith just yet. Not all guys can deliver as Freshmen...it's a big adjustment. He may develop into just the kind of player projected. Adding Lockett would be great!

So it's FIU, USF and Iowa. Considering he just said he no longer plans to visit FIU this weekend, I doubt it's them, otherwise I would think he would visit since it's in-state and just commit on the visit. By my math, I think that gives us a 50-50 shot. Or, college kids are really unpredictable and they like to make you think one thing and then do the opposite, in which case it would be FIU

In short: I have no clue who he is gonna pick, but anytime we are in the top 3 of a list that's a good sign

I wouldn't write off B Smith just yet. Not all guys can deliver as Freshmen...it's a big adjustment. He may develop into just the kind of player projected. Adding Lockett would be great!

Good point, didn't convey that properly, meant we had high hopes for B. Smith as a freshman but lots to learn and adjust to college ball. I think the entire WR core will look more polished this fall with a full year of BF and Copeland and newer WRs meshing with the offense.

I think a WR would want to play a couple of seasons with Nate. Iowa is a good place for a receiver recruit that thinks he's good. The receiver gets two years with a really good quarterback and doesn't have the toughest competition between the recruit and those downs.

people whine about the system....but if we actually had a guy that could catch passes consistently he could put up some good numbers!
