CAN ANYONE STOP SPENCER LEE

Im not a doctor but I had the surgery, in my opinion those are good surgeries for coming back stronger. In my experience no arthritic pain and you can rebuild that knee/joint to 110%. I see Spencer being as potent as ever when it’s all said and done.

Maybe, depends on how much the surgery affects him mentally. Will he be more hesitant, concerned? I always wondered how surgery affected Sam Stoll.

I’m confident that Spencer will again wrestle without knee distraction. Im 21 years out and I have to look for the scar to remember which knee it was. Spencer won’t have that problem. Ha.

My guess, having watched Lee and listening to his parents, coaches and teammates. His mental game is incredibly strong, and I would warn everyone to avoid wrestling him!!!

His dad said you have not seen the best Spencer Lee and I believe he is 100% correct. I also think when he Wrestled that Freestyle Tournament that was loaded up pretty good and he destroyed everyone like it was a JR HS Xmas tourn. That was the closest we have come to seeing him at fully throttle.

SUCKS that this had to happen to this outstanding young man, but whatever the future holds, we are all extremely lucky to have kids/wrestlers like this!

Well considering he already had surgery and retore his knee without anybody noticing, I'm going to assume he'll be just fine mentally.

Edited to add Sam Stoll wasn't mental either, he was clearly just a shell of himself physically.

Yeah…. He was one of the few in that group who seemed more hesitant to pull the trigger toward the end of his career.

With all due respect, if you've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express I can't take this post seriously. No offense intended of course. 😏

(Oh, and I hope you are 100% correct on your assessment!)

I think most of us know the best is yet to come and What is really awesome about this situation is that Spencer will now be even more motivated (if possible) to prove he is the best in both styles.
As previously stated, I hope Gilman is still in the picture after next season so Spencer can send him packing back to state college with his tail between his legs. Give him a little fair well gift , “you were” now go see how happy that valley is.

Two wrestlers who are equal in mental toughness, both have similar knee surgeries One weighs 125, the other 250+. I think the lighter wrestler would have a recovery advantage. And, nothing against Sam in this ncase, but I haven't ever witnessed anyone as tough as Spencer.

My wife is a PT and said he should absolutely come back fine. In fact, she thought it was crazy that he didn’t have surgery last March.
