I saw Iowa as a Top 10 program for 2021. Reading all the hype for Iowa State, I simply felt, you have the wrong program in the State of Iowa, folks, talking to the College Football fans talking Iowa State.
The Iowa offense was fun at Maryland.
And, there is improvement in those stats.
Of course, defense wins championships and at Maryland, it wasn't a couple, but Iowa's defense forced 7 turnovers.
And, we can't forget special teams for the Hawkeyes.
Kirk Ferentz in his 23rd year at Iowa as head coach. His 40th anniversary, since his arrival with Hayden Fry, as Iowa OL coach. Talk about special season at 5-0 after the first weekend in October.
#4 Penn State (5-0) coached by James Franklin is heading to Iowa City this Saturday for a 3 PM kick on. FOX. #3 Iowa (5-0) should simply enjoy a fantastic game ahead. Play Hawkeye Football, and the Hawks should take care of business.
May three be a charm for Iowa. The Hawkeyes have a very good team in 2021. Offense, defense and special teams should combine and give Iowa the edge over Penn State.
