More and more I get the feeling it was like the US embassy in Saigon as Trump was departing DC.
The only thing she could conceivably be criticized for is lying. If writing a book pays the bills (and records an accurate history)...kudos to her.Kudos to Hutchinson for her testimony to the Jan 6th committee, but im not giving her any cookies for speaking out when shes trying to cash in on a book like many from Trumps administration have tried doing before her.
Just predictable for all of the people in the Trump Administration who didnt speak out while they were in the administration that are now spilling all the beans because they have a book to sell. The only thing she could conceivably be criticized for is lying. This. Hot AF. I'd give her subpoena so hard she’d comply all over my testimonies.Would
You have a point in general, absolutely, but she testified and is a huge reason why we have a special counsel in DOJ and several indictments. She forced the DOJ to act.Just predictable for all of the people in the Trump Administration who didnt speak out while they were in the administration that are now spilling all the beans because they have a book to sell.
And i gave her kudos for that. You have a point in general, absolutely N but she testified and is a huge reason why we have a special counsel in DOJ and several indictments. She forced the DOJ to act.
Not celebrating at all. Looking for additional details and items we don't know about yet tonight is all. More information that is needed for the voting bloc. And i gave her kudos for that.
I wont celebrate her pound of flesh doing a media tour when she has a book to sell. Its easy to do the right thing when you can profit off of it
If what she is saying is useful to hold the corrupt accountable, it should have come out well before a book being published. Not celebrating at all. Looking for additional details and items we don't know about yet tonight is all. More information that is needed for the voting bloc.
You don't think Jack Smith doesn't have her full cooperation and testimony for over a year now? Comeon man. Of course the DOJ knows all she has to provide. Now it's our turn. DOJ isn't going to release anything during an active case.If what she is saying is useful to hold the corrupt accountable, it should have come out well before a book being published.
Outside of that, its all just schoolyard gossip.
Well, nobody will ever give you any kudos for using an apostrophe correctly.Kudos to Hutchinson for her testimony to the Jan 6th committee, but im not giving her any cookies for speaking out when shes trying to cash in on a book like many from Trumps administration have tried doing before her.

Luckily for you, i said this in Post #5 in this thread:Well, nobody will ever give you any kudos for using an apostrophe correctly.
She testified before the 1/6 Committee truthfully, and she didn’t get paid for that. That deserves some kudos, even from a 27 handle poster.

ThanksLike i said, I have no real interest the media whitewashing for clicks when former staff members of the Trump Administration air dirty laundry when its time profit while they sat by and did nothing when it was happening.
Have fun with “your turn” though.
And you said this:Luckily for you, i said this in Post #5 in this thread:

Yep, and i gave her credit for testifying in front of the J6 commitee. And you said this:
Fact is she DID "spill the beans" long before this book being published.
At least she testified under oath first.Just predictable for all of the people in the Trump Administration who didnt speak out while they were in the administration that are now spilling all the beans because they have a book to sell.
Agree. i am not as annoyed with Hutchinson as i am when others from the Trump team go on a media redemption book tour.At least she testified under oath first.

That tracks.Memory is really starting to fade on this.
I imagine she has some pretty hefty attorney bills to pay, fwiw.Kudos to Hutchinson for her testimony to the Jan 6th committee, but im not giving her any cookies for speaking out when shes trying to cash in on a book like many from Trumps administration have tried doing before her.
Except your point was she is just now "spilling the beans" to promote her book and that is demonstrably false. She testified under oath to what she knew long before this book came out.Yep, and i gave her credit for testifying in front of the J6 commitee.
now she joins the long list of former Trump staffers cashing in on a book, and the media is more than happy to platform her because trashing Trump is ratings gold, when all of the pertinent damning evidence was already should have already been uncovered by Smith or the J6 committee.
Touche.Except your point was she is just now "spilling the beans" to promote her book and that is demonstrably false. She testified under oath to what she knew long before this book came out.
You made a mistake and then foolishly doubled down on it.
???? People publish books about events that have been reported on previously all the time. No doubt much of it will rehash her testimony and perhaps provide more context along with some additional details not reported before. Still, it's wrong to say she is now "spilling the beans" to promote her book. The "beans" were already spilled.Touche.
But there should be nothing in this book that should be worthy of a media tour. Any media tour to promote a book is a nothing burger in my opinion. Corporate media will have her on and as trashing Trump world gets clicks and likes online. Anything of substance should already have been provided to jack smith and the j6 commission
You win Riley.???? People publish books about events that have been reported on previously all the time. If you don't like that she is taking advantage of her intimate knowledge of occurrences in the Trump White House then say that. But to suggest she hasn't been forthcoming prior to this is wrong.
I get what you're saying and agree when you're talking about the Bill Barr types who had tremendous power and influence. Cassidy did not. Any revelations she might have made during the time she worked in the administration would be quickly dismissed. My guess is she was also naive and caught up in it all until January 6th which changed everything. By all accounts at that point she cooperated fully and provided crucial testimony. You win Riley.
Yes, i hate when the media props up members of a corrupt administration on a redemption tour when they did nothing when all this stuff they write about was happening.
Cassidy’s redemption ark is a little smoother than Bill Barr, but it’s still gross.
