Huge shout out to Tom and Jennifer Kakert and their unbelievable restaurant! If you haven’t been to Davenport and checked out Cavort Libations & Bites, do so ASAP! My wife and I snuck down last night and not only had the company of Mr. Tom Kakert, but we had an excellent dinner. Everything on the menu was top-notch. And we definitely put ourselves into a food coma. It was an awesome date night to celebrate our 22 year wedding anniversary. Can’t wait to get back down. Thanks Tom!

Not really. It's my wife's deal.

It's a major undertaking for anyone. I wish her the best. Lots of great locally-produced beer and locally-grown foods that she can serve. The Quad Cities is one of the better places in Iowa to open a restaurant, but everywhere competition is fierce! If/when I get back to the Quad Cities, I will check it out.
