They need the Bomb a lot more than they need Nixon.
Kiper has him as his 10th overall prospect and DT #1. Wonder if he's getting any pressure to sit out the bowl game and start draft prepping. Would love to see him return next season but the stars are aligned perfectly for an early departure and big payday.
They still need a LT. The guy they have now (Smith) is turrible.
He has played against only G5 competition. He will get drafted by the Jets based off of his incomplete body of work. Serviceable qb like Chad Pennington but not great.
Nixon has a unique combination of quickness and power. We also saw his speed with the pick6. I have to believe that he will solidify his stock value during the combine. How high he is drafted is uncertain because team needs vary greatly but a real shot at being some team's #1 pick IMO.
