I mean what a joke, what crap programming is on CBS tonight that is more important than the final four? You just shouldn't have to have cable to watch this. Garbage....

If CBS didn't have the winning bid to it, you'd have most likely had the same end result.....it would've mostly like been on ESPN or one of the cable networks.

A lot of people don't have cable/satellite anymore with Netflix, Hulu and others around. We haven't had it for 5 years.

CS does not hold exclusive rights to the NCAA tournament. They hold it jointly with the Turner network and will so until at least 2024. The two Networks will alternate coverage of the entire final four starting in 2016 with TBS broadcasting in the even numbered years, CBS the odd. Might want to rethink your cable options if you want to watch in those years.

I would guess the vast majority of people with cable have HD. HD is free for a lot of companies.

If possible go to a sports bar or restaurant with TV. I'm sure they are all showing the game.

Is it so terrible to save money on some things that other people think are necessary? Some who do are poor and some just think they should put other things first.

Not at all, until you cry about the Final 4 not being on CBS.

If you don't have a cable box then you can probably get TBS in HD with manual tune channels for free

I don't see anything wrong with complaining about an annual event that has been available for years to everybody who owns rabbit ears.

You don't have cable? Do you have electricity?
Missing the point are we?
Perhaps. Is the point that CBS bought the rights to the game as a public service? I may be missing the point of that as well, but I'm guessing that did that to make money.

I don't have the Direct TV NFL package that would let me watch all the NFL games every Sunday. Who should I complain to about that?

Not everyone can get direct TV. I live in old neighborhood with huge trees in all yards. Myself and various neighbors have looked into it but they said they cant get a clear view to install a dish. Everyone has comcast or uverse. Even if I didnt have trees or cut them down the neighbors trees would make it moot.

If you couldn't of seen it coming by now I can't help you. See MNF 10 or so years ago going to ESPN.

You guys without cable could have done what I did and got a free trial subscription to Sling TV, which includes TBS. Granted the service kinda sucks and the service couldn't hold up to the March Madness demand very well but it was still better than not watching.

Dont get TBS? Standard def? What the hell is going on here. If you're that poor that you don't get TBS (which is on every basic cable/satillite package I'm pretty sure) or you're watching in SD (what is this 1990?), go to your local watering hole and slam a couple brewskis. Then again for all the money that you will spend going to the bar to watch major sporting events, its probably cheaper to stop being a tight @ss and pay for TV.

Yes. A lot of bitching and whining over nothing.
Wrong. Only the CBS games are available for free to anyone. To watch the games on the Turner networks, you needed to have a cable or satellite login and would then get access to those channels available from your TV provider.

Of course, you may be talking about "pirated" broadcasts, which you can get for pretty much any televised event.

Kudos for using "moot" instead of "mute" like most morons.

That's all I got for ya.

And you never see MNF in the top 30 rated TV programs anymore. Use to be top 5 every week it was on. Now, Thursday FB on CBS and Sunday on NBC are the top rated.

I thought everyone who posted here made a minimum of 6 figures, was hung like a horse, and had a supermodel wife..... Huh...
