I remember going to the NCAAs in Oklahoma in 1989 and Tim Krieger wrestled a Division III guy in the finals, Karl Monaco from Montclair State. I think that may have been the last year Division III champs and Division II champs and runners-up were allowed to wrestle at D 1s. I'd like to see that come back. I'm not sure if that's also the last year Iowa didn't have a finalist?
