Just a few spots out of AP and Coaches Poll but # SOS keeping us going in CFP Poll.

Best case scenario

Win out go 8-4... probably move into top 20/25 if we can get a solid matchup and play well in Music City Bowl I think we will crack the top 20.

I've been on HR for a couple of days, and I was assured that Iowa sucks. How can they possible be better than over 100 FBS programs?

Egads, I hope not. Hawks aren't good enough playing outside the state of Iowa to beat an opponent at the Music City level. That's usually a pairing with an SEC team. Iowa needs a lower-level bowl so that they can have a realistic chance of getting a bowl win. Too many young guys this year who get rattled if they don't have the stadium behind them.

Crap. I've seen a couple projections and they have Iowa in the Music City Bowl. One of the opponents was Texas A&M, another had South Carolina. Not good. Not good at all. But it's still early and we all know that's just speculation. But please, God, don't make Iowa have to endure another 45-14 beatdown in the Music City Bowl.

Which offenses have generated anything in Wisconsin and which ferentz works on special teams? Some times teams are better than you. It sucks, but you move on. You don’t, I mean, but we do.

Iowa is #20 in Sagarin Ratings at 6-4 vs the #3 SOS. Losses to 3,7,26, 28. Wins over 5, 24, 48, 70, 100,121. Interesting note. UNT, and Wyoming are both 7-3. OOC teams are combined 20-10. Still have to play 46 PU and 72 Debbie.
