Iowa WBB is fun to follow. Bluder is building a powerhouse program.

All sports with few exceptions (volleyball) are competing for championships at Iowa right now.

Field hockey, soccer, both track and field teams, golf, tennis. It’s always great to be a Hawkeye, but right now is especially great.

In Iowa, eighth graders are allowed to play summer baseball and softball on the varsity level. They can't play any others until they start their freshman year.

Been taking my daughters for 7 years now to the games and no pics they are 16 and 14 now. I love it, I know all the players and follow recruiting as much as I do wrestling, Football and men’s basketball. I’m a junkie big time. I probably log more miles then anybody on this site from QC area except for maybe Tom Kakert 😊. 23 so far take your daughter, grand daughter and watch a couple full games you may become and even bigger fan as they are fun to watch.

I have Grandaughters that play and I enjoy watching them, but that's where it ends for me. And I would have no issue taking them to an Iowa Women's game, but I've never lived closer to Iowa City than 5 hours away! It's tough enough for me to get down there for Football and Wrestling on occasion! Ha!

Unless you have daughters who are basketball players. Or have daughters. Or like basketball more than football. Or realize they are both unimportant is the big picture.

Minimizing women ain't cool or funny.
