Championship Tickets General Public

I was going to do the reservation on Shoowin but there are loads of customer complaints online. Combined with the fact that it is a beta site (seriously wtf B1G?), maybe I'll just take my chances and hope the demand isn't sky high like last year.

Got 2 in section 450 for $100 a piece. Where did everyone stay last year, I was looking and the only way to stay downtown is to stay 2 nights and pay $400 a night, which I'm not really willing to do, I found multiple hotels for $100-150 a night but they are miles away. JW how big of a hassle it would be to stay out farther.

If you're set on going, AirBNb might be a good option. Not sure what the cancellation policy is but it's worth checking out.

We stayed out in the north burbs and uber'd to from downtown.
Worked out great.

just grabbed a pair in section 424. while i was at it, decided to see if rose bowl tickets were available yet. looks like just the packages are out there at this time.

I believe it's a smart move to buy tickets early, I did that with a hunch last year at the end of October and I did it again yesterday. You are in the building at face! Otherwise you get to experience the extreme pain of dealing wit the street scalpers from Chicago like so many Iowa fans did last year. I've seen the same guys at the Big Ten hoops tournament and the NCAA in Des Moines this spring. They are extreme ass buckets and verbally insulting. At worse case, if Iowa flops, you can sell to Ohio State, Michigan or Michigan St fans.

Just not Nebraska fans as theIr only trip to the B1G title game featured the worst attendance for the B1G title game in it's short history. By like 20,000 people.

Last year was the largest FWIW.

Nebraska fans quit traveling about 4/5 years ago. In 99, Kirk's opener as Hawk coach vs. Huskers, they filled up half of kinnick and won 42-7 or something like that.

So ever since they've joined the B1G & they lose all the time. Unrelated but it just so happens that's when they quit traveling.
